Targeted Crime: Policing and Social Inclusion

This project is a criminological study into the nature, patterns and policing of targeted incidents and crime, that is, incidents and crimes motivated by bias, prejudice or hatred towards members of particular groups, communities and individuals in Victoria, Australia.

It aims to develop a best practice policing framework for policing targeted crimes and incidents across key populations through both qualitative and quantitative criminological analysis, as well as increasing understanding of target crimes and enhancing theoretical and conceptual clarity of the relationship between social inclusion and hate crime. [whohit]australasia[/whohit]
