Call for Submissions: 2016 Hate Incidents
Every year on 16 November, International Tolerance Day, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) releases its data on hate crimes and hate incidents.
If you or your organization are considering submitting hate incidents, please follow the guidance in the factsheet when preparing your submission.
Information about hate crimes and hate incidents that took place during 2016 as well as information about activities of civil society groups to end hate crime can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, by 30 April 2017, indicating in the subject line: “HCR2016[NAME OF CIVIL SOCIETYORGANIZATION/GROUP]”
Data on incidents that meet ODIHR’s criteria together with data submitted by OSCE participating States and Inter-Governmental Organizations will be published on the ODIHR Hate Crime Reporting Website at http://hatecrime.osce.org. Prior to publication, all contributors are consulted for review. Data on the previous year will be published every year on the International Day for Tolerance (16 November).
