Hate Crime Conference

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Central Lancashire is hosting a dedicated conference focussing on Hate Crime. The event will bring together organisations from all sectors including leaders from the statutory and community sector.

Aims and Objectives of the Conference:

  • To raise awareness of what hate crime/ hate incident is
  • Raise awareness of 3rd party reporting centres in a bid to collaborate agencies to tackle and improve the reporting of hate crimes
  • Identify ways of improving the quality of support offered to victims
