Setting up a Third Party Reporting Centre for Hate Crime

You are invited to attend a training session on setting up a third party reporting centre for hate crime. These centres have proved successful in other areas in offering a safe place where hate crime can be reported within the community.

Benefits include:

  • Victims will gain support and confidence
  • Victims don’t need to give their personal details
  • Victims can be signposted to ongoing support

The session will be lead by Inspector Tracey Scrase who leads on this area of work for Isle of Wight. Attendees will learn more about safeguarding and the process of setting up a centre locally. The session will last for approximate 3 hours.
