St Paul’s launch National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2015 #NHCAW

Saturday 10 October 2015, 18:15-19:00pm, St. Paul’s Cathedral

Organised by 17-24-30 in partnership with Stop Hate UK, this event marks the launch of National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2015.

This short service of Hope and Remembrance for those affected by hate crime will include:

  • Arrival Diversity Choir music
  • Welcoming Speech by St Paul’s Cathedral
  • Speech by Mark Healey (17-24-30) and Rose Simkins (Stop Hate UK)
  • Lighting of National Candle of Hope and Remembrance for those affected by hate crime by Maz Saleem (daughter of Mohammed Saleem).
  • Diversity Choir Music during community lighting of candles
  • Speech by Stephen Green Halgh (Deputy Mayor of Policing and Crime MOPAC)
  • Blessing by St Paul’s Cathedral
  • Retiring Collection in aid of 17-24-30 No To Hate Crime Campaign
  • Departing Diversity Choir music
