The Racial Equality Strategy 2015-2025: Three years on

In 2015, Northern Ireland launched the Racial Equality Strategy (RES), a framework for government departments to tackle racial inequalities, eradicate racism and hate crime, and promote good race relations and social cohesion.

Three years on, this panel discussion will focus on what the key aims of the RES are, and how far we have come in achieving these.

Panel speakers include specialists in policy, art, cultural engagement, education, and refugee and migrant engagement. The selected speakers are individuals who work on the front line of ethnic minority and race relations, and who have experiential knowledge of the progress and problems surrounding the implementation and impact of the policy within Northern Ireland.
