Working Across the Lines: Connecting Struggles, Respecting Difference conference

In recent times we have seen a rise in a ‘politics of prejudice’ in which racism, anti-Muslim sentiment, anti-Semitism and xenophobia operate together to mark particular populations as ‘out of place’ in society. Please join Voice4Change England (V4CE) and the Migrants’ Rights Network (MRN) to discuss new research into how to invest in social justice by strengthening working across race equality, migrants’ rights, refugee and faith issues.
The gathering features speakers including Amrit Wilson. There will be discussion of key issues such as the ‘Othering’ of people based on ‘race’, nationality status and faith and limits and barriers to collective working. And, together, participants will generate a practical set of ideas to support investing in greater solidarity and joint working across race equality, migrants’ rights, refugee and faith issues.
