Skillful Bystander Intervention Workshop

Learn and practice skillful responses to hate crimes, harassment and everyday bigotry. We’ll cover five different types of bystander responses, and spend most of the workshop doing role play scenarios in a safe and welcoming learning environment.

Elizabeth Ferguson, Ph.D. Founder of Climate Compassion and social justice advocate who bridges communities to inspire creative system change. She is a facilitator and coach in the areas of resilience and wellbeing, with an emphasis on the power of embodied practice to ripple wellbeing throughout the web of life. She is part of a global effort to scale psycho-social wellbeing in response to the challenge of ecological disruption.

Annabelle Berrios, JD, MA , a master practitioner in the areas of training and capacity building, leadership coaching, psychology of place and restorative justice. She is the Advocacy and Training Manager at the Contra Costa Family Justice Alliance who inspires narratives of hope and change. She is an improvisational performer and facilitator of transformative learning spaces for embodying wisdom in leadership.
